Description:
In this role you will:
- Manage a team of engineering coordinators that will act as technical liaison between lines of business and our engineering teams to ensure the smooth transition from legacy to target data centers.
- Manage security consulting on large projects for internal clients to ensure conformity with corporate information security policy, and standards.
- Possess subject matter expertise at a mastery level in current and emerging security solutions and best practices.
- Manage implementation of information security such as availability, integrity, confidentiality, risk management, threat identification, modeling, monitoring, incident response, access management, and business continuity
- Work with more experienced technologists and team leads.
- Interface directly with senior management for reporting on project status.
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Information Security Architecture
- Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent.
Required Qualifications, US:
- 4+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
- 2+ years of leading network security engineering deployment teams
- 2+ years of working in an enterprise network security environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working with various firewall and other security platform vendors.
- Knowledge of regulations required in a financial environment.
- Experience writing technical procedures, references, and other documentation.
- Experience with Agile work practices.
- Fundamental knowledge of automation technologies such as Ansible.
- Fundamental knowledge of information security standards, frameworks, policies, controls, and regulations.
Job Information:

- The role pays in the salary range of $120,400 to $250,000 in New York and California and is based on qualifications and experience
Wells Fargo is seeking a motivated Information Security Engineering Manger to lead an energetic and fast paced team of information security engineering deployment coordinators, working on cutting edge next generation security technologies.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership experience in leading the deployment of next generation network security technologies. In addition, the candidate should also have demonstrated experience in driving automation for process simplification related to product builds, operational maintenance, and customer integration and onboarding. This role reports directly to a Senior Manager for the Network Security team.
