• Responsible for information security within the Vorwerk International legal entity who works in close collaboration with the global information security organization.
• Sparring Partner and deputy for the ISO of 2 smaller Vorwerk legal entities.
• Promotes compliance with information security policies and, if necessary, develops local policies for compliance with local regulations in close coordination with the IS organization.
• Identifies and assesses local risks, creates a gap analysis to implement information security policies and a security plan.
• Ensures that local IS incident management is integrated into the global process.
• Manages approvals and exceptions and processes escalations.
• Initiates and monitors the implementation of information security measures and projects based on risk assessments and global initiatives.
• Supports business and DPO in the third-party management including due diligence and performance monitoring.
• Reviews the “Technical and organizational measures” in the Data Processing Agreements.
• Conducts together with business and DPO the data protection impact assessments with relation to security risks assessment and definition of mitigating measures.
• Advises the IT and business areas on information security issues and supports (IT) audits.
• Conducts local awareness and training measures as well as stakeholder management.
• Is involved in the global ISO community
