This is a fully remote role to be based in Malaysia. We will prioritise candidates who are based in Malaysia and do not require a work visa sponsorship.

ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a passionate, detail-obsessed, and pragmatic person to work with us in the role of Information Security Officer.

• Minimum of eight years of information security governance, risk, compliance and/or technology risk management, preferably in both enterprise and startup environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (any additional Asian language a plus), with the ability to communicate technical topics to management and non-technical audiences
• Having certifications such as ISO 27005, ISO 22301, ISO 27001, CISSP, CISM, ITIL appreciated
• Experience in designing and managing new and existing security systems
• Expertise in information and cybersecurity frameworks, standards and regulatory requirements such as NIST, PCI, ISO 27001, SOC 2 as well as a good general understanding of data protection law
• Experience in facing off to financial and insurance regulators and institutions and prior regional APAC experience a plus
• Tech-savvy, love the cloud, and have successfully demonstrated an understanding of how modern architectures, pipelines and cloud deployments can significantly manage risk
• Leadership experience with team leading background
