Description:
- Manage and support KHDA’s Information Security (IS) structure in a cost-effective manner to ensure that the KHDA network is secure from threats and vulnerabilities as per globally accepted standards.
- Participate in the implementation of the Dubai Smart Government’ ISR and ISMS in KHDA. Investigate cases of systems misuse, unauthorized attempts to use network resources, and violations of computer security policies. Identify potential areas where existing security architecture, policies and procedures require change and/or updates.
- Conduct security threat and risk assessment of IT facilities, applications systems and communications.
- Establish and administer a program of monitoring, measuring, and evaluating IS hardware and software performance. Analyze changes issued by manufacturer and determine impact on existing production systems, systems design, and operating procedures. Direct staff for efficient operation and prompt modernization and upgrades as requirements change.
- Participate in key process improvements as they relate to KHDA’s IS environment. Research and deploy new technologies. Contribute to general business planning regarding technology and systems required to secure, maintain and promote growth of KHDA’s operations.
- Perform additional functions, as may be required and/or incidental to IT Information Security support activities. Liaise with external suppliers for support and contract negotiations.
- Collaborate with other functions to ensure availability, reliability, and scalability of IT services to meet business demands and ensure customer satisfaction targets and SLAs.
- Comply with organizational policies with regard to quality and security standards (ISR & ISMS).
