ABOUT THE ROLE

The successful candidate will lead the team through this transition, contribute technically to the success of the project with their knowledge of software solutions in the housing sector and have a clear vision for the opportunities this change will present post implementation.
With day-to-day responsibility for the small ICT Helpdesk function too, Onward is looking for an enthusiastic team member with a track record of developing & delivering an excellent service through collaboration with colleagues in the wider ICT Team, the Strategic Projects office, and colleagues across Onward.

ROLE WORKING REQUIREMENTS.

This is a homebased position but will require the post holder will work closely with colleagues across the North West of the England and attending regular team meetings at our office as and when required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • User Need

Work collaboratively to evaluate user needs and system functionality to ensure that business systems are designed and developed in line with business objectives.

  • Design & Test

Manage the day-to-day operations of IT business systems, ensuring that all business systems and software is designed, developed, fully tested, and documented in line with business objectives.

  • Business Continuity

Ensure that all business-critical systems are upgraded in line with vendor road maps and have full back up strategies that are tested regularly to ensure their effectiveness in assuring business continuity.

  • Partnership Working

Identify, build, and develop an extensive network of external partnerships to ensure that the interests of the organisation are represented. Be an ambassador for the organisation and an advocate for customers.

  • Management, Leadership and Culture Change

Manage the budgets, resources and priorities of the team ensuring effective and efficient use of resources to deliver agreed performance targets and customer satisfaction. Drive culture change across the organisation based on the Onward Values.
