Description:

Purpose: We are looking for a Graduate to join us at our regional Research & Development Headquarters in Cranfield, Bedfordshire, starting in September 2024. Nissan are on a mission to electrify our vehicle product range, this is an opportunity to be part of an exciting time for the Nissan brand in the move to Electric Vehicles and also part of something bigger, a greener and more sustainable future.
Department Overview: We build technology solutions, partnering closely with the business to deliver leading edge software products to support business operations. In Information Systems we concentrate around managing the delivery of business solutions or supporting and delivering the infrastructure and services which underpin our systems used across our R&D/ Design sites in Cranfield, London, Barcelona, and Bonn.
Role Overview: As a Graduate in the Information Systems function you will be delivering a variety of interesting projects and daily business operations. With new challenges and opportunities coming thick and fast from a wide range of business areas. Working for us will provide insight and exposure to various professional avenues whilst interacting with different cultures. Diversity is key, as most departments work cross functionally with partners around the world.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning and delivery of end-to-end services to the domain to ensure customer satisfaction. This may include technical services, local service desk, application support and project deployment of regional/global solutions to supported sites
  • Ensure smooth running of daily operations, operational risk and escalation management
  • Analysis & requirements gathering - engaging business counterparts to identify problems and opportunities, to formalise business requirements
  • Adherence to industry best practice, departmental governance, and service delivery methodologies whilst delivering to recognised quality, cost and time constraints
  • Collaboration with colleagues across all IS/IT teams including software development, infrastructure, information security and enterprise integration
  • Working closely with Nissan’s service providers
  • Delivery of projects to agreed scope, cost and timing as agreed with internal customers. Agility is key and applying quality assurance to all aspects of delivery
