    You might be the person we are looking for to fill this position to support operations of our end user device Enterprise Security Solutions for Linux, Mac, and Windows systems.
    He/she will assist in the operations of NRC’s end user device Enterprise Security Solutions. Collaborating as a part of a team you will be tasked to provide support to all the services within the team.

EDUCATION

Successful completion of a College diploma in Computer Science or related field. Bachelor degree in Computer Science from a recognized University considered an asset.
Consideration may be given to candidates with significant experience and a High School diploma.

EXPERIENCE

  • Experience providing desktop and technical support to users both locally and remotely (including problem analysis and resolution) in a Windows based environment including support of MS Office products, TCP/IP etc.
  • Experience using an Endpoint Security Solution to protect end user devices.
  • Significant* experience in supporting Microsoft Windows 10+ desktop operating systems, including imaging software and with Significant experience with Linux and Basic experience with Mac Os.Significant* experience installing, configuring and maintaining the desktop hardware, software and peripherals.

  • Experience supporting Servers/VM.
  • Experience supporting cloud based infrastructure
  • Significant is defined as more than 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities:

We are looking for an “IT Analyst – Enterprise Security Operations Linux/Mac/Windows” to support our Knowledge, Information, and Technology Services Branch (KITS). The ideal candidates would be someone who shares our core values of Integrity, Excellence, Respect and Creativity.
The incumbents will work as members of the Standards and Desktop Infrastructure team within the Knowledge, Information, and Technology Services Branch (KITS), providing clients with IT support services for distributed computers and networks within the various Research Centres/Branches/IRAP of NRC.
