Woods Homes is searching for one (1) full-time IT Support Assistant
Reporting to the Manager of Information Technology, this position provides first-level support by responding to all client requests. It is also responsible for account management, inventory management, purchasing, systems monitoring, and documentation. The Information Technology Support Assistant will demonstrate due diligence in being exceptional in the delivery of high-quality services and meeting the requirements of the Health and Safety Management System at Wood’s Homes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education, Training, Diplomas and Certifications Needed
- Post-Secondary Diploma or Certificate in Business Administration or IT
- Work Experience Needed
- 2 – 5 years experience in a related field.

Responsibilities:
- Supports the therapeutic services provided to all clients including Family Centered Care, Developmentally Appropriate Practice, trauma Informed Approach and Culturally Competent Practice.
- Supports a culture of health & safety across the organization and within the immediate program.
- First point of contact for all IT related service requests.
- Log, resolve, escalate and follow-up incidents and problems using Help Desk software.
- Manage client system access.
- Ensure accuracy of hardware and software inventory using audit tools and annual audit process.
- Purchase hardware and software.
- Monitor systems using specialized software.
- Maintain and audit IT documentation.
- Maintain and upgrade skills through courses, seminars and self-study.
- Completes all required health and safety training.
- Reports workplace hazards, unsafe or unhealthy conditions, or incidents (including near misses, injuries, or equipment damage) to their direct supervisor.
- Work on assigned projects.
