An affiliate of the Airbus Group of Companies, STELIA is an aerospace and defence company specializing in the design, development, and manufacturing of composite components and assemblies. Headquartered in Lunenburg, NS, and with a site in Mirabel, QC, we operate more than 150,000 sq feet of facilities dedicated to operations, manufacturing and administration.
Reporting to the IT Manager, the IT Technician is an essential member of the IT Team responsible for keeping computer systems running smoothly and efficiently. As the first point of contact for IT support, the IT Technician will diagnose, repair, and maintain hardware and software components ensuring efficient system operation.

Responsibilities:
- Install and configure hardware and software components, anti-virus software and security systems, ensuring network security.
- Troubleshoot all hardware and software issues and repair or replace damaged hardware as required.
- Perform tests and evaluations on software and hardware and troubleshoot printers, scanners or other peripherals.
- Maintain current and accurate inventory of hardware, software and resources while logging repairs and fixes.
- Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders.
- Use help desk system to complete and document tasks while following up on outstanding requests ensuring timely resolution.
- Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without interfering with others work.
