The Opportunity
At Wolf Midstream, we are committed to delivering innovative technology solutions that drive business success. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced IT Infrastructure Analyst to join our dynamic team and support our IT infrastructure initiatives.
The Infrastructure Analyst will be responsible for supporting the planning, implementation, and management of the company’s IT infrastructure. This role requires technical expertise, and a passion for ensuring the stability and efficiency of our IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement best practice IT infrastructure strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure optimal performance and security by aligning with the business and managed partners
  • Assist with the design, deployment, and maintenance of Azure and on-premise systems, servers, storage solutions, and other IT infrastructure components
  • Optimize cloud cost, Hyper-V environments, storage clusters, identity stores and on-premise backup and recovery solutions.
  • Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of IT systems to support business objectives
  • Collaborate with other groups to identify and address infrastructure needs and improvements
  • Stay updated on infrastructure and cloud industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement through continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including confidentiality, integrity and availability requirements
  • Prepare status and activity metrics to track delivery of infrastructure services, planned and unplanned system outages, other key system performance metrics and communications to the team and business
  • Work closely with the IT Cyber Security team and managed service partners to maintain overall security of IT systems, network, and data
  • Ensure high availability and reliability of deployed cloud and on-premises systems, through capacity and cost management utilizing native and third-party tools
  • Establish guidelines to monitor systems performance and service stability, report on status of systems and verify process and system hierarchy through real-time monitoring
  • Develop, implement, and maintain overall data backup and recovery strategy aligning to the company business continuity and disaster recovery plans
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Certifications such as ITIL, AZ-305, AZ800/801, CCC-PCA or relevant cloud-specific certifications

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 5 years related work experience
  • Strong technical background with expertise in cloud and virtual networking, server management, cloud platform as a service, virtualization, storage management, DevOps (Terraform or BICEP)
  • Demonstrated capability to design and implement an IT environment based on a well-articulated roadmap and strategic vision following Microsoft’s best practice
  • Good understanding of service level agreements (SLAs) and how they are applied
  • Previous experience leading managed service teams and managing result delivery

SKILLS:

  • Strong time management skills, with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to conduct and direct research into IT issues and products as required with a focus on cloud native solutions and building as code
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
  • Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Focus on Devops/Secdevops and Azure native services with a focus on cost and availability
