JOB DESCRIPTION

This is a commissioned sales position on Team Microsoft. Join a tight knit, high-energy, high-performance team. We are searching for a highly motivated and passionate leader to serve in the role as the Microsoft Infrastructure Sales Director. You lead a team of Application Engineers and Account Managers who own all aspects of supporting existing and winning new designs of Intel Data Center, AI, Networking and Edge products including CPUs, accelerators, software and networking. You are the strategic deal maker on negotiating commercial terms, directly responsible for delivering quarterly and annual revenue quotas, forecasting demand, roadmap alignment, and increasing penetration for Intel based Azure instances with critical Microsoft workloads. Your experience along with a position in managing one of the most strategic customers for Intel comes with the added responsibility of influencing our business units and executive leadership team on future roadmap and strategy development. You think and act strategically but still excel in the tactical grind. Note: International relocation is not approved for this position.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar field - or equivalent professional work experience.
  • 10+ years of work experience with demonstrated success in technical sales, business development, with a strong track record of selling technical Cloud (Public, Private, Hybrid), Data or AI solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Direct sales experience with Microsoft services, software and/or Azure branded hardware infrastructure (cloud, edge, networking)
  • Deep knowledge of the cloud solution provider (CSP) market and Microsoft business.
  • 7+ years of sales and relationship management with a track record of growth with large accounts.
  • 5+ years of management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Intel’s Data Center, AI, Networking and Edge strategies and technology.
  • Masters in Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent professional experience.

Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of 1P/3P market drivers for Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
  • Win next generation designs, maximize inclusion of Intel technologies, ensure design-wins reach production and grow top Microsoft workload penetration with Intel based Microsoft instances.
  • Oversee complex business agreements with the customer including forecasting and pricing.
  • Influence internal stakeholders to gain needed support and alignment to accelerate Intel driven MSFT revenue growth.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate your and the broader sales teams to deliver exceptional results.
