Description:

The Infrastructure Engineer will play a crucial role in engineering the firm’s Enterprise infrastructure monitoring tools. This position requires deploying resilient and scalable vendor and open-source products in both Windows and Linux environments. The role involves developing solutions to integrate monitoring tools into the firm’s ecosystem, creating automations to streamline manual tasks, and providing second-level support for tools and services within the team.

SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering
  • Passion for developing enterprise-scale monitoring solutions
  • Proficiency in Python or similar programming language
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Experience in Linux and Windows server administration
  • Familiarity with SDLC best practices and source control tools like GIT
  • Knowledge of Network TCP/IP; experience with monitoring protocols (SNMP, Syslogs, Wireshark) is a plus

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in securities or financial services industry is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with industry standard Enterprise monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, NetScout)
  • Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes.
  • Exposure to public cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure.
