ABOUT US:

The Networks and Hosting Team at TFL host over 40 Mission Critical and Business Critical services including the London Underground, Overground, Buses and Trams which ultimately keep TfL services to our customers running. This team is made up of approximately 8 Oracle infrastructure DBAs and delivers technical expertise to aid the implementation, maintenance, and support of core technology

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will carry out day to day technical activities, guided by a Senior Engineer. The role also is required to work on projects implementing and enhancing databases for TfL applications. Some engagement with stakeholders such as Project Manager, Developers, End Users, Product Manager and Infrastructure engineers from other IT Infrastructure technologies is required. The team is responsible for the lifecycle support of current products versions and existing legacy ones.
There may also be requirement to support out of hours work and on-call for TfL’s 24/7 supported services.
