Responsibilities:
WHAT’S YOUR ROLE IN SOCIETY?
We are currently looking for a talented and motivated Infrastructure Engineer to join our expanding Mission Critical team in our newly refurbished Central London office. We operate a hybrid working model which for us means typically 3 days in the office or on site and 2 days at home (depending on the need for site visits/client meetings).
WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?
Working on a wide range of projects including large data centres you will be responsible for Civil Engineering/Infrastructure design, including design calculations, specifications, drawings and technical information.
You will undertake site surveys and report writing, carry out contract management on delegated schemes and be comfortable liaising with clients, the wider design team, statutory authorities and contractors.
This role will enable you to gain a wide range of experience which will stretch your skills and develop your career.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU’LL HAVE:
- A minimum of 2 years relevant experience of infrastructure design (below ground drainage; services coordination; cut/fill; pavement design; external levels; etc).
- An Engineering degree.
- Knowledge and understanding of UK Codes of Practice, Design Standards, Building Regulations and Health and Safety.
- An understanding of projects both during design and construction.
- Experience of using AutoCAD/Civils3D/WinDes (MircroDrainage).
If you believe you have the skill set required, are keen to join a business with genuine opportunities for career progression, then we’d love to hear from you.
Let’s transform society together at Sweco.
