About the Job
Who we are looking for
You are an experienced Infrastructure & IT Security engineer, who enjoys Infrastructure administration, managing networks, servers and security systems, identifying opportunities for improvement, deploy selected digital solutions.
You have experience in implementing digital solutions. You will collaborate with people of various expertise such as Information Systems, Data management and Business Intelligence.
The position is based in our Head office in Geneva, with reporting line to the Head of Information Technology.
The Infrastructure and IT Security Manager serves as both a technical lead and a manager, responsible for overseeing IT infrastructure services and information security. In addition to managing networks, servers, telephony, and cybersecurity, they take a lead role in procurement digital projects.
Infrastructure Management
- Continuously optimize the IT infrastructure, considering technological improvements and new design patterns with cloud technologies.
- Implement best practices for infrastructure design, support, and operational running of on-premises and cloud environments.
- Develop standards for hardware, software, and information security.
- Support Business Continuity Plans with well-architected disaster recovery solutions.
- Collaborate with third parties, developers, and hosting providers to ensure secure, resilient, and scalable virtual infrastructure and web hosting environments.
- Manage support team and act as second level support for infrastructure tasks.
Technical Lead
- Act as the technical lead during procurement digital projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to evaluate, select, and manage deployment of technology solutions.
- Provide technical expertise in evaluating vendors, assessing proposals, and ensuring alignment with technical requirements.
- Guide the implementation of new infrastructure components, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems, guiding interfaces between solutions.
Methodology
- Ensure the technical process is documented, adequate and up to date.
Your Qualification
YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
- Bachelor or Master degree in Systems and Network Administration.
- 3+ years’ experience in a related role.
- Experience managing Azure infrastructure services, Azure AD.
- Proven experience managing firewalls, routers, switches and wifi access points.
- Proficiency in Office 365, SharePoint, Teams and email systems.
- Knowledge in Dynamics 365 CRM & Business Central, Zerto Solutions, Metallic backups are a plus.
- Knowledge of hybrid Exchange environments, VMWare migration, and Windows Servers administration.
- Experience with software development life cycle and procurement projects.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and tools.
- Ability to manage competing demands and priorities.
- Proven information security background.
- Familiarity with Cyber Essentials certification.
