Position Overview: As a Composite Technician, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing of our high-performance boats, utilising infusion and Resin Transfer Molding (RTM) lamination processes. This full-time position requires a deep understanding of composite materials and advanced lamination techniques to ensure the structural integrity and quality of our vessels.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Proven experience in composite manufacturing, specifically infusion and RTM lamination processes.
Strong knowledge of composite materials, resin systems, and lamination techniques.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
Proficiency in using hand tools and machinery related to composite manufacturing.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Commitment to safety and adherence to all safety guidelines and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Perform infusion and RTM lamination processes with precision and accuracy.
Prepare molds and tools for composite manufacturing, ensuring all materials and equipment are ready for use.
Apply and monitor resin infusion and RTM techniques, ensuring proper distribution and curing.
Inspect and verify the quality of completed laminates, identifying and correcting any defects.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimise processes and improve product quality.
Document and report on the lamination process, including material usage and quality control measures.
