An opportunity exists to join a rapidly growing international corrugated packaging business. Disruptive Packaging is looking for an experienced, creative and dedicated corrugated packaging designer with
estimating capabilities.

JOB SUMMARY:

• Engineer and ArtiosCAD user.
• High level design and manufacturing to ensure product integrity and design manufacturability.
• Prepare CAD drawings and create pre-production samples on sample table.
• Prepare and create presentations with 3D drawings.
• Prepare tooling drawings for manufacturing in Mexico and China factories.
• Understand corrugated production processes and be able to estimate jobs in a quickly.
• Design and estimating within global Disruptive Packaging processes and systems.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions with the aim to produce innovative packaging solutions.
• Create digital sketches, renderings and presentations detailing packaging solutions
• Researching design ideas and existing industry ideas that can be used for profitable Disruptive Packaging projects.
• Be part of the packaging design process from brainstorming to engineering, manufacturing and completion.
  Experiencia y requisitos

REQUIREMENTS:

• In depth knowledge of ArtiosCAD, including 3D.

• 5+ years of structural packaging experience.

• Knowledge of printing processes.
• Experience in creating corrugated die tools.
• Experience operating corrugated sample machines.
• History in designing corrugated machine erected packaging.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Knowledge of ZOHO CRM would be an advantage but not critical.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work remotely with the sales and design team located around the world.
• Ability to think, design and render in both 2D and 3D.
• Ability to take ownership of projects and deliver solutions with an attention to detail and excellent craftsmanship.
• Must be self-motivated with the ability to with team members from international locations.
• Must have a background in packaging design, industrial design or relevant experience.
