Nous recherchons un.e ingénieur.e en sécurité des équipments pour nous rejoindre dans notre mission de contribuer à un avenir plus écologique. Le poste fait partie de notre excellente équipe d’ingénierie basée à Montréal. En nous rejoignant, vous serez un acteur clé dans l’établissement et la montée en puissance de nouvelles usines, et contribuerez à la construction de l’une des premières grandes usines canadiennes de batteries.
EQUIPMENT SAFETY ENGINEER
We are looking for a dedicated, experienced, and driven person to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our excellent, bold, and passionate engineering team based in Montreal. By joining us, you will be a key player in establishing and ramping up new factories and contribute to building one of the first large scale Canadian battery factories.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of NV’s Equipment Safety Program.
- Partner with suppliers and ensure equipment compliance with industry safety standards (CSA, CE/MD, UL, etc.); local, provincial and national regulations; and company safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and maintenance, to implement and enforce safety protocols for equipment and machinery.
- Utilize international best practice risk assessment methodologies to ensure equipment and process engineering safety throughout design.
- Partner with Engineering teams on safety Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) of incoming processes and equipment.
- Oversee change management on safety systems of equipment, processes, and facilities.
- Develop and deliver training programs for employees on equipment safety procedures.
- Maintain detailed records of equipment safety assessments, inspections, and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with international equipment safety team and share best practices.
