JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced Injection Molding Engineer to join for our Manufacturing Engineering team at the Helsinki factory. Your main responsibility is to ensure that injection molding process is set up correctly and operating at optimal efficiency. You solve issues that arise during the production and maintain injection molding machines performance.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors or master’s level degree (electronics, automation or plastics) or equivalent
- Several years of experience in injection molding technologies, especially plastics
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to work self-responsible, strong teamwork spirit and sociable.
- Fluency in Finnish and English (both written and spoken)
- Legally authorized to work in Finland.
DESIRED SKILLS
- Experience of Lean Manufacturing concepts and practices.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Experience of technical documentation
- Experience in project managemental tasks, ability to drive project schedule and execution.
- Previous experience in a regulated industry
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that injection molding process is set up correctly and operating at optimal efficiency.
- Monitoring production output and quality to ensure that production targets are met, and the parts meets specifications.
- Operating an injection machine to assist in production.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during production including identifying and resolving mechanical, electrical and quality issues.
- Performing regular maintenance and repairs on the injection molding machines to prevent downtime and maintain their performance.
- Keeping up to date with the latest technologies and techniques in the injection molding industry.
- Development of production equipment and tools
- Drive excellence through continuous improvements in ways of working, process and tools.
