About the role
Do you enjoy making a difference in injured workers’ lives? Join Calvary,and help those who care for others. We are searching for an Injury Management and Return to Work superstar! This is a full-time role supporting our injured workers in our Aged Care and Home Care services across Victoria. The base location can be at either our Collins St or Mulgrave offices.
Your role is to provide early intervention and longer-term injury management support for injured workers and to coach managers to assist their workers to recover at work. Liaising with all stakeholders in the workers’ compensation process, you will possess a thorough knowledge of the Victorian scheme and excellent communication, influencing, negotiation and conflict resolution skills. You will spend several days a week at our Aged Care or Home Care sites, meeting with workers and managers to provide expert advice and support.

Responsibilities:

Supporting our injured workers to recover at work, crafting Return to Work Plans that meet the needs of all stakeholders
Coaching our managers to support and assist their injured workers
Liaise with stakeholders such as treating health practitioners and insurers to achieve sustainable positive outcomes for injured workers and Calvary
Utilise your claims management expertise to optimise financial outcomes including reduction of claim costs and premiums
Keep accurate records, meeting required confidentiality requirements and timeframes for compliance
About you
Relevant experience in a Return-to-Work role
Highly developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
A passion to care for those who care for others
A valid Australian drivers license
Experience in Workers Compensation Insurance/Allied Health highly desirable
