Job Summary
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Innovation Analyst to join a brand new team a brand new Innovation and Data Insights team. The objective being to leverage technology and innovation to modernize Barings’ ways of working by delivering new processes, services and business models to drive growth.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of 3-5 years in a reputable consultancy firm with a focus on innovation and data insights. This is a pivotal role that will lead and deliver innovation initiatives from their inception through to successful execution and adoption.
The successful candidate will be a quick learner, results oriented and with the ability to work in an agile environment. They will be adept at identifying opportunities for enhancing processes across multiple departments and will play a big part in cultivating an environment that encourages and embraces creative thinking throughout the organization.
They will actively monitor and promote new technologies and opportunities that align with our strategic goals. The role also requires the ability to analyze and execute innovation projects, responding to the current context of disruption and emerging technologies.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support the Head of Innovation & Data Insights in the management and execution of the innovation strategy
  • Guides the process of discovering and assessing creative and innovative ideas. Actively takes into account upcoming trends and technologies as well as possible challenges to the business
  • Provides project management support and coordination for all innovative initiatives and projects
  • Support the delivery of innovation projects from conception to implementation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute innovative solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to the investment management industry.
  • Foster a culture of creativity and experimentation within the organization

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in a consultancy firm with a focus on innovation and data insights
  • Proven ability to lead and support innovation projects
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to identify and articulate core problems and opportunities
  • Ability to translate business needs into technology requirements
  • Quick learner with the ability to grasp complex concepts and explore new domains.
  • Knowledgeable about industry trends and able to provide thought leadership.
  • Creative problem-solver with strong logical thinking skills.
  • Combines strong logical thinking with the ability to formulate creative solutions
  • Manages workstreams and drives results with a focus on outcomes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent listening, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to synthesize complex ideas into simple, actionable language.
  • Builds consensus and co-creates solutions with stakeholders.
