Responsibilities:

PRIMARY ROLE PURPOSE:

The satellite industry is facing severe disruption over the coming years as new entrants and technological advances fundamentally transform the market. As a result, the competitive challenges for the traditional satellite players are increasing at an unprecedented level. Faced with this new reality, achieving growth in our traditional markets will become ever more challenging.
Against this backdrop the Strategy and Growth Programmes team leads the charge for VIG in developing and executing strategies and plans that keep Inmarsat competitive in our markets today and into the future. One such initiative is the Chorus programme which seeks to expand their satellite communications business in the global aeronautical market segment. We are looking to provide a scalable and flexible beyond line-of-sight communication solution, for regional operations, to disseminate mission system data in real time from the airborne platforms to key end-users. The programme is expected to deliver a compelling end-to-end solution for this segment backed by a comprehensive go-to-market and capture strategy.
The role will be responsible for driving the development and launch of the services under Chorus programmes. This role involves close collaboration with the PMO, technical, operations, sales and marketing teams to ensure the successful delivery of the service suite in line with the programme objectives.
