Description:

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead Projects: Oversee technical end-to-end delivery of innovation initiatives with Category Project Leads.
  • Plan & Document: Create and maintain project plans and documentation, highlighting critical paths and variances.
  • Facilitate Meetings: Coordinate and document planning workshops, stage gate meetings, and weekly stand-ups.
  • Report & Communicate: Gather input for project reports and communicate risks and issues to Project Leads.
  • Manage Risks: Identify, mitigate, and escalate key risks in the innovation pipeline.
  • Continuous Improvement: Capture lessons learned and recommend improvements for future projects.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Education & Certification: Degree in a relevant field and professional Project Management qualification (e.g., Prince 2, PMP)/experience.
  • Project Management: Expertise in managing innovation/product development projects in FMCG, tobacco, or pharmaceutical environments.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to build collaborative and influential relationships.
  • Strategic & Commercial Awareness: Proficient in strategic planning, budget management, and commercial awareness.
  • Risk & Process Management: Skilled in identifying, managing, and escalating project risks, and overseeing process management.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with project management tools and effective planning, managing, and reporting on complex projects.

In this dynamic role, you’ll support global end-to-end project management for cutting-edge innovation projects. Collaborate closely with Category Project Leads to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, ensuring consistent application of Project Management Practices from ideation to launch.
