We have an opportunity for someone to join the team as our Innovation Project Manager, reporting to our Senior Innovation Manager and based in Auckland.
This is a fixed term opportunity covering parental leave.
In this role you’ll play a crucial role in shaping our future and helping us achieve our key business strategies.

SKILLS AND CAPABILITIES:

• Ability to lead large cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to think logically and rationally, particularly when dealing with elevated levels of ambiguity and complexity.
• Builds strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, sharing knowledge and insights across the organization.
• Shows skills in ability to work effectively with others and mange key stakeholders across the business.
• Showcases creative and critical thinking skills
• Proven experience within Marketing, Innovation or New Product Development
• Proven project management experienceTertiary qualification in either Marketing, Business or equivalent.

• Lead key innovation projects through the Stage-gate process to bring innovation to market.
• Category champion to ensure delivery of innovation pipeline, communicating status and risks throughout the business.
• Ensure launch plans and go to market strategies are sufficient to meet project objectives and achieve success.
• Participate in the identification, prioritisation and development of the three-year rolling Innovation Pipeline that ensures focus on scale and achievement of key business strategies.
• Continually review and improve the tools and processes we use to manage innovation at Lion.
• Coach and develop key internal stakeholders on innovation technical skills and best practices.
• Continually explore and identify new insights / ideas / trends to meet growth aspirations.
