Packaging plays a key role in enabling innovation projects that are launched in the zone and this position will lead on all innovation and sustainability projects for packaging procurement in the zone. The position is overall responsible for developing, validating & planning the implementation of innovation strategies and special projects for packaging procurement.
The role will involve a high level of stakeholder/cross functional collaboration & is responsible to develop and manage Packaging Innovation Strategy, and to drive continuous improvement while operating as a link between procurement & supply and third parties.

What will you be doing:

• Define & execute innovation strategy for packaging procurement
• Lead packaging innovation projects and enable successful product launches for Zone Europe
• Lead the annual Supplier Innovation Fair via cross functional collaboration
• Co-lead as procurement SPOC on Design to Value and Value Engineering Initiatives
• Collaborate with packaging suppliers and internal commercial and supply/technical teams on the packaging portfolio of the future/ 3YP
• Coordinate on internal/ external benchmarking projects on packaging procurement
• Coordinate and lead Innovation Updates meetings with cross-functional teams and management
• Lead supplier capability and supplier enabled innovation to drive competitive advantage on packaging solutions for the zone
• Lead annual internal harmonization exercise together with technical/supply teams
• Lead transformation and ongoing improvements for packaging innovation as the Procurement Management Innovation pillar owner
• Provide pro-active technical advice to procurement / supply on innovation projects
• Lead the Innovation Pillar for Packaging as part of Procurement Management System (ProMS)
• Act as a packaging procurement SPOC in the internal innovation cross-functional forums (IOC, project meetings)

What you’ll bring:

• University Degree: Master / MBA degree OR Experience in FMCG/CPG industry; Relevant experience working within innovation
• Fluent in English with experience of working in and with multi-country scenarios
• Strategic and conceptual thinking, cross functional thinking, factual decision making, strong organizational skills.
• Strong influencing skills, strong verbal and written communication, team player, results-oriented, self-starter who likes to take initiative
• Project-management skills
• In-depth understanding of financial and business case analysis
• Seeks creative solutions
• Fast learner
• High standards of business ethics and integrity
• Prepared to travel to the Breweries and Suppliers
• Good negotiation skills, knowledge of PC Office tools, excellent in Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of SAP, ERP systems
