In-patient Services Manager £55,000 Based at Bray Lake, Windsor Road 37.5 hours to be worked across all shifts as required, but typically Monday to Friday Overview We are always looking for excellent people to join our charity. You’ll research and learn the best ways of delivering interventions and ensure people are scheduled with the right experience to deliver safe and effective care.
To support the team at point of care delivery and on occasion work on the inpatient services unit to provide nursing cover. Alongside other senior colleagues you’ll manage strategy, KPI’s, budgets, clinical governance and performance of the team and charity with positivity and by going the extra mile. Ability to lead partnership working across the integrated care system. To provide clinical leadership in all meetings.
To lead on safeguarding, mental capacity act, DOL’S and patient safety as required including the training and support all clinical staff. To work with partners, wider health and social care teams, and commissioners to ensure a whole system approach with collaboration and delivery for the patient at the heart of what we do. Our Finances Using strong financial acumen you’ll manage your budgets, find more for less solutions and lead a cost conscious culture, ensuring sustainability for the future Through effect contract management you’ll work collaboratively with Finance to understand, measure and deliver the contracts. Being sustainable You’ll be detailed conscious and a forward thinker who has excellent IT and planning skills to ensure the smooth operation of the team within budget. To manage conflict, complexity and day to day demands ensuring the team is effective and productive. Working with others you’ll make sure deliverables are appropriately resourced and project managed. This will include charity wide events, workforce improvements and continuous improvement to clinical services.
Role specific As a UK registered nurse the Inpatient Services Manager has the additional responsibilities: To provide clinical and operational leadership and management for the in-patient unit, ensuring team members are of a high quality and put patients and their families at the centre of everything we do. Under the guidance of the Chief Nurse, set up new services, implement necessary changes and take actions in response to feedback. To take accountability for delivering care with agility through strong partnership with other clinical leaders . Overall oversight for all aspects of people management including managing complex employee casework.
To ensure clinical standards are delivered to CQC expectations and research is undertaken to ensure we are always delivering best practice. To lead on safeguarding, risk management and regulatory compliance. To deputise in the absence of the Chief Nurse and hold responsibility for elements of the registered manager role. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and IT systems used for rostering, incident reporting and electronic record keeping.
To contribute to the clinical on call rota. Proven track record in management with expertise in clinical leadership
