JOB SUMMARY

ATTENTION SECURITY ALARM TECHNICIANS AND MONITORING STATION STAFF - Tired of being out in the field dealing with traffic, weather and so on or working 24/7 in a cement box 365 days a year. This might be the opportunity for you!!
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Insider to join our dynamic team. Tek Systems Group is a full service, multi-system, low voltage integrator looking for an inside service rep to help troubleshoot and provide customer service to our clients.
The Insider will play a crucial role in enhancing customer experiences by providing exceptional service and support. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to analyze customer needs effectively. The ideal candidate will be comfortable engaging with customers over the phone and through various channels, ensuring their needs are met while promoting our products and services.

SKILLS

  • Excellent Customer Service and Support skills
  • Proficient in English; multilingual abilities (Spanish or other languages) are highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in alarm and low voltage industry an asset
  • Strong data entry skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to perform logical troubleshooting via phone and online tools.
  • Eager to learn and interact with new and changing software and equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective interactions with customers.
  • Previous experience in customer service is preferred.
  • Proficient in using computer systems, including office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to handle high call volumes while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Ability to analyze information quickly and make informed decisions based on customer needs.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 per week

Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Engage with customers through phone calls and emails to ensure a positive experience.
  • Use logical troubleshooting techniques to assist customers or determine if on site service is required.
  • Conduct data entry tasks accurately to maintain up-to-date customer records.
  • Utilize remote connection software and other equipment specific programs to assist in operating and using customer equipment.
  • Communicate effectively in English.
  • Process and ship equipment direct to customers.
  • Assist with providing service quotes on upgrades or add ons as needed without pushy sales techniques or overselling.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including filing and document management.
  • Utilize Excel and other office software to generate reports and analyze data.
  • Maintain professional phone etiquette while interacting with customers.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve data entry processes and systems.
