About the Inside Channel Account Manager:
MarketStar is seeking an Inside Channel Account Manager to support our Google Chrome team from our Dublin office. As an Inside Channel Account Manager, you will increase the resellers’ awareness and position our client’s products and solutions. You will cultivate positive relationships with resellers to maintain front-of-mind brand awareness. The ideal candidate is confident and engaging in presenting solutions to decision makers, sales professionals, and end user clients, ultimately helping to increase sales.
Location: Leopardstown, Dublin 18

What will you do?

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with channel partners, understanding their needs and providing effective solutions.
  • Work with CAM to develop and implement sales plans to drive revenue growth within the channel for Google Chrome solutions.
  • Use client provided and self- guided training resources to stay up to date on knowledge of the product and keep partners informed of any changes to products, services, or processes.
  • Collaborate with various functional teams (marketing, sales, customer service) to enhance sales performance.
  • Direct partner to leverage Google marketing content and drive increased revenue.
  • Train and educate partners on the company’s product line and sales techniques.
  • Assist partner in moving deals through the pipeline – capture and report on top deals, coordinate and align resources to support partner as needed.
  • Own the partner outreach process that will include calls and emails with the intent of building and managing relationships across the partner account focused on continued account support
  • Attain daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly targets
  • Record partner interactions and engagement in CRM

What Will You Need to Succeed?

  • Previous experience in an IT or channel sales environment
  • Experience in account management, technology sales, or other related field preferred
  • Demonstrated success in selling or educating others on a technical product or solutions
  • Excellent sales skills with the ability to apply a variety of sales techniques and a demonstrated ability to achieve quota
  • Tech savvy with a passion for innovative and emerging technology
  • Strong time and project management organizational skills
  • Proficiency with using Microsoft Office and/or Google Suites
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships
  • Strong written and verbal presentation skills
  • Experience with setting and exceeding sales goals
  • Able to multi-task, manage time effectively and adapt to change
  • Able to analyze and interpret data to develop and implement strategic plans is preferred
  • Previous experience with account management or prior experience in sales or technology preferred

The pay for this position is base salary per annum of €50,000 with an additional variable bonus component of €5,000. There are several factors to consider including but not limited to, the role’s responsibilities, experience, location, education/training, internal equity, and key skills.
