Position Description
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Inside Sales (Lead Generation Specialist) with a background in the life sciences sector to join our sales team.
The ideal candidate will have a blend of skills in lead qualification, sales prospecting, and direct sales/selling responsibilities. This role is crucial in driving our sales growth by identifying and nurturing high-quality leads and converting them into satisfied customers.

Position Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a sales-related role, preferably in the life sciences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the life sciences industry and its key players.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and qualify inbound leads generated from trials, marketing campaigns and other various website inquiries via phone, email and other resources to determine their interest.
  • Support customers through trialing the software and getting them technical support and resources when needed.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to transition qualified leads for further development and closure.
  • Work in close coordination with territory sales representative, channel sales qualified prospects for further development, negotiation, and closure.
  • Take full responsibility of some assigned opportunities, follow-up with a sense of urgency and close business agreements within a given time frame.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on lead qualification and sales activities to management.
  • Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
