The Role

ChemTek is revolutionizing the asphalt paving sector. We’ve seen a surge in interest thanks to our engaging social media campaigns, and now we need an experienced Inside Sales Representative to keep up with the demand.
You will help expand our Mid-market Business through sales, technical support, and education. This role is crucial in maintaining our reputation for responsive customer support and high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Engagement and Outreach: Quick to follow up on leads and reach out to potential clients.
- Customer Success Management: Ensure the success of clients by providing guidance on product selection and offering consistent follow-up support regarding product usage and application.
- Build Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing customers. Show genuine interest in the needs and challenges of clients, ensuring they feel valued and understood.
- CRM Data Management: Log all sales activities, future tasks, and customer insights in Salesforce. Use Salesforce to manage your activities and plan your day.
- Consultative Selling: Establish one-on-one relationships with customers, positioning oneself as a trusted advisor and providing personalized recommendations for cross-selling and upselling new products.
- Order Closing: Effectively close orders generated from inbound leads through direct sales efforts, maximizing conversion rates and revenue.
- Customer First Attitude: Deliver fast and responsive customer support.
- Market and Product Expertise: Get to know the market and our customers’ needs inside out.
- Build Recurring Revenue: Strategically build and nurture a book of business.

The Person
- Educational Background: A college degree is a plus, but what’s more important is your drive and ability to succeed.
- Sales Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ of proven experience in a prospect or customer-facing sales or support role, showcasing the ability to engage effectively with clients and prospects or demonstrating a track record of achieving targets and driving revenue growth.
- CRM Proficiency: Proficient with Salesforce or equivalent CRM software.
- Business Development Skills: Ability to proactively generate new business opportunities and cultivate long-term relationships with clients, leveraging a strategic approach to identify and capitalize on sales prospects.
- Expert Deal-Closing Skills: Deal-Closing Skills: Demonstrates superior proficiency in closing deals and negotiating agreements.
