JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are currently seeking a driven Inside Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent communication skills, and have a proven track record in sales. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
- Post-secondary education required.
- 1-2 years of relevant sales experience in the flooring industry preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, result-oriented environment.
- Excellent planning, organization, and follow-through abilities.
- Goal-oriented, self-starter who works well independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Proven track record in prospecting, cold calling, and closing sales.
Responsibilities:
- Foster relationships with current and prospective customers to promote and secure orders.
- Maintain consistent communication with Flooring Retail Stores to identify opportunities and offer solutions.
- Collaborate with distributors to introduce new products to the Flooring Market.
- Proactively prospect and engage potential clients, ensuring thorough follow-up.
- Strategically oversee existing business operations and implement sales strategies for new product launches.
- Close sales transactions while adhering to company policies.
- Generate growth opportunities through cold calling and referrals.
- Prepare and deliver sales reports to management.
- Participate in trade shows and industry conventions.
- Manage sales inquiries via phone and email.
- Create quotations for both current and prospective customers.
- Conduct research to identify and cultivate prospective customers.
