JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are currently seeking a driven Inside Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent communication skills, and have a proven track record in sales. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Post-secondary education required.
  • 1-2 years of relevant sales experience in the flooring industry preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, result-oriented environment.
  • Excellent planning, organization, and follow-through abilities.
  • Goal-oriented, self-starter who works well independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Proven track record in prospecting, cold calling, and closing sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Foster relationships with current and prospective customers to promote and secure orders.
  • Maintain consistent communication with Flooring Retail Stores to identify opportunities and offer solutions.
  • Collaborate with distributors to introduce new products to the Flooring Market.
  • Proactively prospect and engage potential clients, ensuring thorough follow-up.
  • Strategically oversee existing business operations and implement sales strategies for new product launches.
  • Close sales transactions while adhering to company policies.
  • Generate growth opportunities through cold calling and referrals.
  • Prepare and deliver sales reports to management.
  • Participate in trade shows and industry conventions.
  • Manage sales inquiries via phone and email.
  • Create quotations for both current and prospective customers.
  • Conduct research to identify and cultivate prospective customers.
