As an Inside Sales Representative II at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will be part of the Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Division (CMD) team within IES Service Delivery. This role focuses on generating new sales opportunities and qualifying inbound leads using digital prospecting tools. You will have the opportunity to engage with prospects and existing customers, working towards monthly and quarterly lead conversion goals, as well as regional bookings targets for IES specific service product lines.
EDUCATION
- Equivalent experience in Science or Business is acceptable, with a preference for a Bachelor’s degree. Associate’s Degree required.
EXPERIENCE
- Ideal candidates should possess a track record of sales experience, ranging from 0 to 5 years, with a preference for those who have worked in a business-to-business (B2B) setting.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience with digital prospecting tools and inbound lead qualification.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in using Salesforce.com or similar CRM software.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position is fully remote and may require sitting for extended periods and occasional travel to customer locations. The work environment is fast-paced and may involve working with chemicals and laboratory equipment.
