Job Description
As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing IT projects within defined timelines and budgets. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders, to ensure that project objectives are met and align with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements. Ensure alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations.
  • Execution & Monitoring: Oversee project execution, manage resources, track progress, and address any issues or risks that arise. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and changes. Facilitate meetings and ensure stakeholder expectations are managed effectively.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Assign tasks, set priorities, and provide guidance and support.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address challenges and adjust project plans as needed.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to organizational policies and best practices. Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, status reports, and post-project reviews. Ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are highly desirable.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects. Experience in Agile methodologies is a plus.

Skills

  • Strong project management skills with a thorough understanding of project lifecycle and methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and handle changing priorities.
