BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree within Life Sciences required
  • 2 years of experience in life sciences

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s + 3 or more years of experience, or PhD
  • Experience in a sales function in relevant industry (biotech, life science) would be very beneficial

EXPECTATIONS, LEADERSHIP COMPETENCIES, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Fluency with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; basic German and/or Nordic/Scandinavian language skills favourable

Responsibilities:

ROLE SUMMARY:

To continue our extraordinary growth, we are hiring an Inside Sales Representative, Northern Europe located in Europe. The primary functional objective of the position is direct contact with customers in the academic, pharma and CRO segments, to initiate and develop relationships, which will ultimately generate sales. It is through these relationships that we will achieve the best possible sales representation for Quanterix Corporation. As an Inside Salesperson, you will be using the telephone, MS Teams, email and other tools in your day to day interactions with customers.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Identify sales opportunities with new and existing customers in the segment and successfully manage the sale cycle of company products and services to achieve or exceed the assigned territory sales plan through an out-bound sales activity, competing within the stated territory.
  • Development and growth of Consumables will be the primary focus of your role
  • Collaborate and mutually develop account activity plans with Field counterparts
  • Coordinate sales processes for assigned accounts for an assigned geography in accordance with approved sales and marketing plans
  • Build and maintain relationships by regular telephone, MS Teams/Zoom, email contact and occasional face to face meetings, with customers and potential customers in an assigned territory to allow product and service information to be communicated and strategic information to be gathered
  • Participate in sales, product and systems training, marketing campaigns, special projects as presented by the Company to develop appropriate selling skills consistent with Company philosophy, policies, and procedures
  • Develop and maintain detailed customer/prospect records and ensure that the relevant mailing list and database reflects this information (e.g. Customer Contacts Database and Marketing Database, SFDC
  • Regularly provide written and verbal communication of successes, failures, best practices, to improve the overall operating efficiency of the territory and sales organization
  • Communicate account objectives and action plans to management via daily interactive updates, monthly summary reports and other communication vehicles
  • Coordinate contracts/quotations within Company Guidelines by extending competitive pricing as needed to maintain and increase margin/revenues with guidance from Management
  • Ensure that all necessary resources needed are used effectively in order to close sales in favor of the Company
  • Drive product campaigns, tabletop exhibitions, present products in a workflow context, follow-up on opportunities from marketing campaigns
  • Provide a revenue forecast for the assigned territory and products by month to the Regional Sales Director
  • Support the tender specialist with collecting sales or technical documents
