Description:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-3 years inside sales, sales, or business development experience
  • Previous experience as a Business Development or Sales Development Representative (BDR or SDR) an asset but not required
  • An adaptable approach to communication and excellent listening and discovery skills
  • Demonstrable experience in new customer acquisition is required. Selling in a multi-faceted technology solution into the corporate market is preferred
  • Ability to quickly learn the functionality of the LodgeLink platform and become a product expert to demonstrate LodgeLink’s robust online solutions to fulfill corporate accommodations needs and add value to prospective customers

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re Hiring for an Inside Sales Representative, who will work remotely from Sydney, Australia.
We are looking for an eager and driven Inside Sales Representative who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment. The Inside Sales Representative reports to the Manager, Inside Sales & Sales Operations and is a key contributor in meeting and/or exceeding established sales goals and targets to increase revenue and profit for LodgeLink. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will drive initial engagement with new prospects for LodgeLink in the Australian market. You will be joining a growing team that is passionate about and dedicated to winning new business to achieve and exceed our ambitious growth targets.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated to prospect, qualify, and close new customer accounts. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with multiple internal partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and building long-term relationships with customers to increase booking volumes on the LodgeLink platform.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Reengage with existing LodgeLink users to increase their booking activity
  • Research accounts, identify key customer stakeholders and generate interest in the LodgeLink platform
  • Perform compelling online and in-person demos to prospects
  • Establish, nurture and secure prospects culminating in new revenue for LodgeLink
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate Business Development Manager for further development
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, and product development requests from current/prospective customers and report back to the team
  • Communicate any unique customer requests with members of the account management team (Customer Success, Customer Service, and Billing Administration)
  • Travel as required
  • Other duties, initiatives, and projects may be assigned from time to time
