QUALIFICATIONS:
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent.
- Post-secondary education in business is preferable; a focus on sales and marketing would be an asset or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales experience with a focus on relationship building and closing a sales cycle.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-driven, motivated, and results-oriented.
- Computer literacy must be at an intermediate level or higher, e.g. MS Outlook, MS Excel, Internet, etc.
- Salesforce experience is considered an asset.
- Ability to work and thrive in a team environment.
- Talent for building strong working relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed determined sales and activity quotas.
- A proven track record of strong client and working relationships.

Responsibilities:
MORE ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Inside Sales Distributor Associate is responsible for overseeing the follow-ups on distributor sample requests. This role will use a variety of methods, including sending samples, developing distributor relationships, and advising end users, to turn the opportunity into a purchase. The successful candidate will be skilled at closing the deal on opportunities and an experienced “glove expert”. This position reports directly to the Inside Sales Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with Territory Managers to support distributors within their regions, by scheduling meetings such as Product Knowledge sessions, Hand Safety Program inquiry meetings, etc., and providing additional support as required.
- Oversee distributor accounts and serve as the initial point of contact. Provide personalized customer experience through regular touchpoints and initiating calls with new product updates.
- Present various safety solutions in addition to products, including webinars/training, site visits, joint calls, etc., to customers. Issue sample(s) to distributors who have identified specific end-user needs for target accounts.
- Ensure the sample(s) issued is the best option(s) for their application through a series of questions regarding use, potential hazards, and PPE standards required for the application(s).
- Connect with distributors to inform/update with Notice of Change (NOC) and discontinued products and provide alternatives as required or if needed.
- Investigate and discover further opportunities through initial sample requests. Send additional samples to compliment project/product requests if needed.
- Identify, verify information, and process incoming leads generated by marketing campaign(s) and warm leads that come in through our existing platforms.
