What You Will Contribute:
Inside sales specialist to develop international opportunities and support pre-sales activities for new and existing customers, offering full product portfolio including water quality and gas detection instrumentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Support all presales requests, specifying products and technical configurations for various application needs.
  • Liaise with distributor/resellers and end users to understand product requirements and installation details.
  • Prepare and issue quotations to all types of international customers, across various markets, multiple products both liquid and gas detection.
  • International sales lead distribution, sharing of any product information such as manuals and literature to guide customers and channel partners.
  • Record and progress sales opportunities, proactively follow up quotes with external sales and customers directly.
  • Work alongside inside and external sales colleagues to achieve collective sales team success.
  • Salesforce case management. Review, categorise and respond to queries received.
  • Work with UK and US customer care team for order information, respond to customer complaints and escalate where necessary.
  • Log correspondence onto customer account record within Salesforce
  • Participate in local and international meetings to build rapport and relationships with staff and customers.
  • Prepare information for monthly sales meeting. Documenting key order intake, general activity leads/ quotes /trials and forecasting.
  • Communicate daily and meet with UK Sales team on monthly basis.
  • Participation in role specific and recommended personal development training.

Requirements / Experience

  • Technical training background mandatory.
  • Knowledge and experience of water quality and gas detection products with a view to enhance technical and practical skills where applicable.
  • A commitment to customer service with a proactive mindset to encourage sales.
  • Experience in inside sales, quote and order processing with good attention to detail.
  • Experience with dealing with B2B and international customers, distribution, reseller and end users.
  • Demonstrate customer account management skills.
  • Ability to prioritise, and time mange.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Additional languages would be beneficial.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours if required to suit international time zones.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications, and experience in CRM systems for opportunity, customer management, and reporting.
  • Able to work comfortably in a pressurised environment and use initiative.
