Job Summary
Are you ready to make an impact? We’re on the hunt for a dynamic and driven Hybrid Inside Sales Specialist to join our team! In this exciting role, you’ll take charge of managing and expanding existing accounts, uncovering new business opportunities, and executing creative marketing campaigns that deliver results. Your territory will span Eastern Ontario, where you’ll connect with customers both virtually and in person, closing deals and driving growth. Leveraging Salesforce, you’ll track every win, lead, and opportunity, building a pipeline that sets the stage for success. Main Responsibilities
- Independently and directly engage with customers to build and manage accounts and relationships and uncover new opportunities through a solid understanding of their challenges, processes, and business objectives.
- Ensure sales growth to meet annual revenue and profit targets by using upselling and cross-selling strategies and to help our customers get their employees home safely at the end of the day.
- Communicating on the phone and/or in person, working with partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and closing sales.
- Create a meaningful Lead Qualification experience through inbound and outbound activities.
- Work effectively with Field Sales and Customer Service to ensure seamless execution of the sales cycle and ensure all quotes are received favorably.
- Be proficient with daily use of Salesforce CRM to update, and maintain information on leads, prospects, and opportunities, to manage customer account growth, and have viable sales pipelines.
- Utilize Buyer Alert process to expand profitable business and work with Operations staff to minimize slow-moving dedicated customer inventory and avoid dead stock situations to improve overall net returns.
- Writing and presenting proposals, bids and partnering agreements to position Levitt-Safety as a full-service solutions provider, and as the best choice against competitors.
- Participate occasionally in duties beyond the sales process (i.e.: mine rescue competitions, customer events, meetings, staff functions, deliver training, perform fit testing, trade shows, etc.) and other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- 1-3 years of cold calling, outbound hybrid sales, business development, lead generation or inside sales account management experience, preferably in the Fire/Safety/Healthcare industry or technical sales in a business-to-business (B2B) product distribution environment.
- Post-secondary education.
- Computer savvy (MS Office, CRM databases, inventory processing systems).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills with professional phone etiquette.
- Passion for sales and building relationships and enjoy working in a target-driven environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- A positive nature and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Comfortable visiting customers and working from an branch 2-3x weekly.
- Bilingual – knowledge of French will offer you an advantage in this role.
