JOB SUMMARY:

The Inside Sales Team Lead will lead and oversee the inside sales team, ensuring that all sales representatives meet or exceed sales goals and performance metrics. Your knowledge of biological/IPM control in the greenhouse industry will be crucial in guiding your team to provide tailored solutions to customers. You will work closely with IPM Field Specialists, campaign coordinators, and customer service to align sales strategies and streamline the sales process. You will foster a positive sales culture while driving the team to achieve 30 meaningful selling interactions per day.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in sales leadership, preferably in inside sales or a similar environment
  • Knowledge and experience in biological/IPM control in the greenhouse industry is essential
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
  • Proficient in CRM software and sales management tools
  • Ability to foster a dynamic and high-performing sales environment
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the inside sales team, ensuring daily performance goals are met
  • Collaborate with campaign coordinators to maintain a queue of sales opportunities
  • Work closely with technical IPM Field Specialists to align inside and outside sales efforts
  • Monitor the sales pipeline and provide regular feedback and coaching to team members
  • Ensure seamless coordination between inside sales, IPM Field Specialists, and customer service
  • Foster a lively and engaging sales office environment
  • Report on sales team performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimization
  • Support the transition of small-dollar-value transactions to e-commerce
  • Lead training sessions for inside sales reps and encourage continuous development
