Description:

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of demand across the energy market, identifying potential new customers and largest green gas opportunities for National Gas
  • Develop analytics pipeline to validate and solve the big questions relating to future customer demand for National Gas Transmission
  • Execute on schedules of work for the insight team, solving for complex questions critical to National Gas’ strategy and decision-making
  • Own Customer Satisfaction survey and associated regulatory processes
  • Support regular engagement with key stakeholders across the business to improve processes, survey data efficiency, performance, quality, and feedback loops
  • Construct and maintain dashboards for positioning on topics, sharing of insights
  • Present findings to senior members of staff ensuring buy-in with outcomes of research and

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with an ability to think strategically.

  • Good communication and presentation skills - having previously presented to senior stakeholders
  • Experience working within the energy market

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is an exciting role where you will be leading data analysis to support National Gas’ strategy as it transitions towards Hydrogen and Carbon Capture. As part of the customer and stakeholder Insights team you will be sitting within the Commercial Directorate, you will be central to the development and analysis of National Gas’ customer and stakeholder related data and intelligence. You will independently own and drive analytical activities, furthering National Gas’ strategy, identifying new opportunities for commercial development, and connecting with business areas to action both insights and projects. Your analysis will feed directly into monthly reporting and drive decision-making at a senior and executive level regarding the strategic direction for National Gas.
As part of your role, you will also own and manage customer surveys for National Gas Transmission, with the aim of supporting funding applications for Hydrogen and green gas activities, identifying new commercial and strategic opportunities, and satisfying regulatory commitments.
