Stoke-on-Trent City Council, in partnership with the Staffordshire Safer Roads Partnership (SSRP), is seeking an Insight and Intelligence Officer to play a critical role in enhancing local road safety outcomes.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the way in data analysis and performance management, providing actionable insights.
You will develop performance frameworks and reporting systems while collaborating with senior leaders and stakeholders to design innovative,data-driven solutions, identifying high-priority areas for intervention, ensuring the effective use of resources.
You will work closely with multi-agency teams that include local councils, emergency services, and national organisations to drive the SSRP’s strategic objectives, handling complex datasets, using advanced tools for analysis and visualisation, presenting findings to inform strategic and operational decision-making.
We are seeking someone with a strong analytical background and a commitment to delivering meaningful insights.
A degree or equivalent professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or similar is essential along with excellent communication, organisational, and relationship-building skills.
Experience with Microsoft 365 and GIS mapping software is desirable.
Collaboration is key, working with stakeholders across Staffordshire, contributing to initiatives that improve safety and enhance community wellbeing.
By leveraging your analytical skills, you will directly contribute to projects that make a tangible difference in people’s lives.
The role is hosted by Stoke-on-Trent City Council and involves working as part of a dynamic, multi-organisational team.
