SUMMARY

Marketing Research Manager will oversee the development of reports, dashboards, and insights around our sales data for sales leadership, marketing, senior management, and individual sellers.
This role will have three primary functions:
1. Development of the analytical tool set used for our teams. The Manager will work closely with our internal IT teams to make sure the data platform is developed and maintained around our sales data. This position will also work on identifying, building and maintaining the analytical tool set used by our internal teams to extract data and view reports.
2. Build the reporting tools and dashboards used by Sales, Sales Leadership, Marketing, and Sales Operations. These dashboards deliver key metrics around our strategy KPIs, sales activities, and sales performance.
3. Deliver analytic insights to our sales and leadership teams. These will be both ad-hoc analysis requests and self-driven discoveries. Help deliver the story around the data to influence key business decision making.
The Marketing Research Manager will develop a deep understanding of how our data is connected and should enjoy extracting the insights from complex data sets to drive data-based decision making. Business knowledge, data analysis, and strong communication skills are required to be successful in this position.
This position will also work closely with other data functions within the Food Group including Finance, Demand Planning, Marketing, and Supply Chain to ensure best practices and data alignment.
The manager will oversee one or two Sales Analysts and will be responsible for their development and managing project priorities.

TYPICAL EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain the dashboards and reports delivering the KPIs for our sales applications, Salesforce, HighSpot, and Salesforce Maps
Ad Hoc Analysis to support Sales, Marketing, Sales Operations, and other departments including sales promotions, pricing analysis, trade spend analysis, 3rd party sales data, etc.
Develop and maintain analytic tools for use by Sales, Sales Operations and Marketing. Development work in QlikView, PowerBI, Salesforce Einstein Analytics, HighSpot. Work closely with Corporate IT, Business Partners and Sales Planning and Demand Planning to ensure data integrity and the appropriate data platforms are developed to support analytics
