EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/COMPETENCIES/KNOWLEDGE GENERAL SKILLS:

Good communication skills.

Attention to detail and sense of observation.
Analytical thinking; Comprehension and ability to apply simple mathematics. Capable of handling weights up to 20 kg.
Intermediate level of English required

TECHNICAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

2 years of experience as an aeronautical
inspector Use of basic measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, dial boron, column micrometers, etc.).
Read and interpret plans, specifications and specifications for products and processes (English and French);
Use of computer
systems Read and understand purchasing documents for external parts and services;
Familiarity with common aeronautical manufacturing processes and ability to visually inspect parts subject to surface treatments.
Basic notions of metrology (calibration, measuring equipment)
General knowledge of materials used in aeronautics.
Education:
DEP in Machining Technology

Control and receipt of parts from suppliers (inspection on receipt)
Intermediate and final inspections (dimensional and documentary) of parts, sub-assemblies and assemblies, simple and complex.
Control the processing carried out by external sources (visual and documentary checks).
Calibration of measuring equipment.
Drafting detailed Non-Conformance Reports (RFIs).
