Job Summary
The Inspection Technician is responsible for the inspection and dispositioning of products. This will include using coordinate measuring machines, hand tool instruments and visual checks of the parts to ensure products are consistent with established standards, customer specifications and production goals.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily inspections based on customer prints, at all stages of production
- Ensure product compliance with quality system and customer requirements
- Collect, record, maintain and electronically store inspection records
- Record observations and report findings
- Participate in investigation and root cause analysis
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints including an understanding of GD&T
- Load and operate CMMs & VCMMs
- Exhibits a working knowledge of health and safety, responsible for safety awareness, while upholding and improving the culture of safety within the organization. Identify opportunities for improvement and report potential hazards, unsafe working conditions, unsafe equipment, unsafe acts, near misses and injuries immediately
