Job Purpose
The Engineer undertaking this position will be responsible for installation analysis activities and should liaise with the project team and client to develop sound and safe installation methodologies and sea states for offshore operations.
Job Description
Analysis for the offshore installation activities (flexible flow-line and risers, Umbilicals, HFLs and Rigid Spools…).
Analysis of the different activities of the subsea structure installation (Manifolds, Protection structures, PLETs, ILTs and …).
Interface with the project team.
Offshore support for the ongoing installation activities.
Write technical project documents (installation engineering memo and installation analysis reports).
Liaise with Project Teams for project data, installation feasibility, and reporting to clients.
Liaise with the Project Team to clarify aspects of the work and complete tasks within the agreed timeframe.
Liaise with the Project Team and client to clarify installation analysis concerns.

You are meant for this job if:

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, Aerospace Engineering or similar.
  • Maximum 3 years’ experience.
  • Competency in design and installation analysis software (i.e. Orcaflex) desirable.
  • Programming knowledge is desirable.
  • Sound understanding of engineering principles, high problem-solving capabilities, and strong desire to pursue excellence.
  • Strong knowledge of structural & fluid mechanics.
  • Strong knowledge in statistics.
  • Shall be self-motivated and have well-developed interpersonal skills to work in a multicultural environment.
  • A demonstrable commitment to HSE and Quality.
  • Fluent in English.
