About the role
We are currently seeking an Installation and Maintenance Assistant to join our dynamic team based at our branch in Glendenning, NSW.
With a focus on exceptional customer service, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintaining and installation of works associated with our site accommodation function within our Sydney Portables branch and out on the road at job sites.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

Desired Skills and Experience

• Trade or Maintenance background/ qualifications such as carpentry or plumbing desirable
• Current driver’s licence
• Forklift, EWP or OHS cards/licences not essential but are highly regarded
• A strong focus on safety and safe work practices;
• Ability to solve problems and make correct decisions;
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, management and customers;
• Current driver’s licence and White Card are essential;
• Forklift Licence and Safe Working at Heights Permit are desirable.

• Ensure all portable building installations are completed on time, as per specifications and are complaint to relevant Australian building codes
• Assist in planning and coordinating the transport of portable buildings and materials to site for installations
• Carry out inspections, maintenance and repairs of toilets and portable buildings, which are on hire at customer sites
• Assist to resolve any service issues with hire items on site and ensure accurate recording of asset numbers for the exchange items
• Build and maintain strong working relations with key suppliers and contractors
• Ensure all required paperwork is accurately completed and submitted
