NKT is currently expanding our installation engineering team and offers a unique opportunity to join one of the leading suppliers of the largest and most complex cable projects worldwide.

MOTIVATED ENGINEER WITH EXPERIENCE FROM MECHANICAL DESIGN

NKT is looking for a motivated person that can take ownership of their work and deliver a high-quality result according to agreed deadlines. To succeed in the role, you have a hands-on mindset and a structured way of working when building and developing models and drawings. In additional you have good understanding of how to interpret relevant standards and how design decision effects the fabrication process.

Your CV includes:

• An engineering degree with +3 year experience from mechanical design works.
• Highly skilled in working in SolidWorks. Skills with AutoCad or Sketchup is also seen as a merit.
• Basic understanding of structural aspects when modelling equipment and tools.
• Basic understanding of welding design and theory.
• Proficiency in English is required, as are excellent written and spoken communication skills.

Experience from cable installation and/or offshore related engineering are considered beneficial.
