We’re currently seeking an Installation Engineer based in London. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in both back-office setup and on-site installation and maintenance of our cutting-edge projects across the UK.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the installation and implementation of geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring systems for new projects within the UK, ensuring all consumables are in place and adhering to our Health, Safety, and Quality standards.
  • Installation and uninstallation of instrumentation in accordance with construction drawings, specifications and method statements in hard-to-access environments; installing, programming and commissioning data loggers and telemetry devices; maintaining impeccable records and ITPs
  • Provide support for operating various geotechnical & structural monitoring instruments
  • Perform routine maintenance and installation of instruments potentially at height.
  • Assisting the Operations Manager with coordinating installations carried out by third parties.
  • Maintaining all monitoring systems to ensure full functionality and compliance with company standards, along with completing necessary site documentation.
  • Managing small projects or sections of larger ones, ensuring they meet agreed budgets, quality, and objectives..
  • Preparing site documentation in line with company and client requirements.
  • Professionally communicating with clients at the site level and providing technical support and training.
  • Updating project folders with relevant information and attending site visits for new installations to gather necessary details.
  • Assisting the Technical Team with research and trials of new sensors and suggesting platform enhancements.
