Over the years, I’m Covered 365 has experienced consistent growth and specialises in various aspects of electrical fire and security. The company serves the commercial, public, and residential sectors in Hampshire, West Sussex, Surrey, and Berkshire.
I’m Covered 365 was founded in 2014 by Mark Bound. They are an independently owned business located in Portsmouth. Mark has steered the companies growth from a one-man operation in a van to a fully accredited insuance-recognised fire and security company. Due to this continued growth they are now looking to employ up to two apprentices. The successful individuals will get the opportunity to work for an establish employer and become an Installation & Service Fire and Security engineer

Entry requirements

• 16-19 ideally
• Must be able to pass an enhanced DBS
• Hold maths and English grade 4 or above
• Be committed to obtaining a driving licence by the end of yr 2 of the apprenticeship
• Non drivers to live within 5 miles of the office
• MUST be prepared to complete one week work trial as part of the decision process

Training to be provided
Initially, the apprentice will work alongside experienced engineers, learning and developing in the fields of both fire and security.
The qualification you would be studying towards is the Fire Emergency Security Systems Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard.
Skills for Security will deliver the apprenticeship training in block release at their Watford Centre. You will attend centre one week every eight weeks.
You will be required to complete all training tasks allocated during your block release weeks at the training centre and gather any site evidence needed to supplement your studies.
Things to consider
This is a 36 month apprenticeship, full commitment is needed during this time.
