Overview:
Role: Institutional Funding Advisor (IFA)
Location: UK, remote working with occasional travel to our office in Haywards Heath, West Sussex as required. Or working more regularly from the office if preferred.
Contract: Permanent Hours: This is a full-time permanent role
Salary: £47,000 per annum

Responsibilities:
Sightsavers Institutional Funding team are looking to recruit an Institutional Funding Advisor to join their team to support and maintain institutional donor relationships.
If you have previous experience of institutional funding as the main function of your current or a previous role, i.e. leading proposal development, strategic donor relationships and managing contracts and grants for institutional donors, this could be a great new opportunity for you.
We have an organisational income of approximately £120 million per year, with half of that coming from Institutional Funding sources. We receive support from a diverse range of donors.
The team are looking for an Institutional Funding Advisor to support and maintain institutional donor relationships; both directly and in collaboration with members of the Institutional Funding team.
You will be line managed by a Senior IFA in directly managing existing funding agreements and leading in the development of new funding relationships for the team.
Skills and Experience:
To succeed in this role you will need:
- Demonstrable experience of working with institutional donors, including bi-laterals, multi-laterals or large scale foundations
- Strong knowledge of current international development issues
- Working knowledge producing applications, reports and management information
- First class research, proposal development and reporting
- Previous experience working with budgets and financial data
- Strong IT skills including digital media
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Able to travel internationally for up to 4 weeks each year
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Current and ongoing right to work in the UK
- An understanding of and commitment to equality of opportunity for people with disabilities

The recruitment process will consist of a virtual interview lasting up to one hour with a possible final second virtual interview/written task. We intend to conduct interviews week commencing 24 February onwards.
